Athens is drenched in history and culture. Each area and neighbourhood offers a different beauty and things to do. A brief guide is shown below:

Kolonaki is a prime central area of Athens. Traditionally it has always been the most exclusive and aristocratic neighbourhood of Athens. It’s the Knightsbridge of Athens and is a top shopping destination and a must go for art lovers due to the abundance of art galleries. South of Kolonaki is the Benaki Museum, west is the Athens Academy and the Hellenic Parliament. North is the Lycabettus hill, which is the highest point in the city and offers a panoramic and awe inspiring view of Athens, especially at night.

Plaka is Plaka, the historic centre of Athens, located just under the Acropolis and between Syntagma and Monastiraki square. Most of the cosy streets are closed to cars and full of jewellery shops, restaurants, cafes and tourist shops. As a tourist, you couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.
